Live rates fetched from the open-source @fawazahmed0/currency-api (via jsdelivr/Cloudflare CDN). Both the source amount and target amount update reactively as you type. Rates are cached at our edge for 6 hours.

Where do the exchange rates come from?
The open-source @fawazahmed0/currency-api, which aggregates rates from multiple central-bank and commercial sources. Updated once per day and served via jsdelivr CDN. These are indicative mid-market rates — actual bank transactions may differ by 1–3%.
Is this real-time forex data?
No. These are daily-updated reference rates. For real-time forex (every-second tick data) you would need a paid commercial feed.
Why doesn't ECB-only data work for PKR or BDT?
The European Central Bank only publishes reference rates for about 30 currencies, mostly G20. Pakistani Rupee (PKR), Bangladeshi Taka (BDT), Sri Lankan Rupee (LKR), Nigerian Naira (NGN) and most Gulf currencies are not in ECB's set, which is why we use a broader multi-source feed.
